MICHIGAN VOTER INFORMATION CENTER: Would you like to see if you are registered? Would you like to look up your precinct location? Do you want to preview your ballot? You can do all this and more by visiting the Michigan Voter Information Center at https://mvic.sos.state.mi.us/. Voters are encouraged to visit the Township website https://brightontwp.com/155/Elections for additional voter information including how to obtain an Absent Voter application and ballot, or you can call the Clerk's Office at (810) 229-0560.
ABSENT VOTER BALLOTS: The Township has more than doubled our Permanent Absent Voter Application List and they have sent many August Primary ballot applications directly to your mailbox at your request. You must return the application in order for them to send you an official ballot in the mail. If you have not received your application or would like one, you can request a ballot by going to: https://www.brightontwp.com/155/Elections and select "Forms" near the bottom of the page.
PRECINCT LOCATION CHANGES: Changes were recently made to precinct locations to better serve residents and for smoother election day operations:
Precinct 1 has moved from the Township Hall to the Fire Hall located at 1580 S. Old US-23.
Precinct 6 has moved from the Fire Hall to St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church located at 2201 S. Old US-23.
Please check your NEW voter I.D. cards for voting and polling location information.
